The Concordia
Apostleship of the Sea would like to express it's deepest sympathies for the family and friends of those who were lost on The Concordia. We are praying for all those involved in this terrible accident. Our chaplains in the UK are on hand to help those who have been affected in any way and AoS Italy are currently directly on the scene assisting the relief effort.
One of our AoS cruise chaplains was onboard the ship at the time of the disaster and we are thankful that he was one of the lucky ones and is safe and sound. You can read more about his efforts to help the passengers and crew onboard the ship on our 'What's Been Happening' page.
AoS more now than ever require your support to keep our work going, so that we have enough chaplains and volunteers on hand when something terrible, such as the events of recent days, takes place. Please spread the word of the work we do, keep us and all the people involved in The Concordia disaster in your prayers, and please give what you can to support our work. You can donate online through this website or please post any cheques to us marked THE CRUISE SHIP APPEAL to AoS, Herald House, 15 Lambs Passage, BUnhill Row, London, EC1Y 8LE. |
