Ways to Donate

Our work is funded through voluntary donations. Funds are raised through regular appeals, volunteer activities, generous legacy donations and special fundraising events such as our annual Sea Sunday campaign.
We rely on your donations. There are several ways in which you can make a donation that will allow us to continue our vital work.
You can Donate Online using a credit card or a PayPal account. Just add the amount you wish to donate into the red 'Donate Now' box at the bottom of the screen, and click the white arrow. This will take you to our PayPal site (you do not need a PayPal account for this transaction).

You can make a regular donation by Direct Debit. To do this just click here to go to our Direct Debit Page.
You can download a Donation Form, which can be printed out and sent back to us with a cheque or your credit card details.
You can ring the office and donate over the Phone. To do this please ring 02079011935 and speak to Peggy our Financial Controller.
You can now also donate via your mobile phone. Donate By Text is a new service. It is very simple. Text TAO00 and the amount you wish to donate to 70070 and the money comes straight to us with no fees. You will then pay the amount via your next phone bill.

A Note About Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a simple way for charities such as us to increase the value of gifts of money received from UK taxpayers. When a UK taxpayer gives a gift of money to a charity, they have already paid tax on that money. Because charities are generally exempt from tax, they can claim an amount from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) equal to the tax paid on that money by the donor. This repayment from HMRC is known as Gift Aid. By asking our donors for permission to reclaim the tax that they have paid on their donation to us we can increase the value of your donations to our charity by one quarter. If you would like to ensure your donations are eligible for Gift Aid you can download our Gift Aid Declaration Form here and send it back to us. We will then update your records on the computer so you will only have to do this once.
