FRSB Commitment

FRSB Tick Logo

The Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) is the independent self-regulatory body for UK fundraising. They oversee a transparent and independent regulatory scheme for fundraising, aiming to raise standards and build public confidence in fundraising. They help their members comply with fundraising best practice. All members of the FRSB use the "give with confidence" tick logo on fundraising materials.

As a proud member of the FRSB, we have made a public promise to adhere to best practice, honesty, transparency, clarity and accountability in all fundraising activity; enabling you to give with confidence. We hope that our membership will build trust and confidence in charitable giving and, ultimately, encourage more people to provide vital support for our work with seafarers.

Giving with Confidence!

We know that when you make a donation – whichever charity you support  – you will want to know that the organisation is committed to best practice. That we are responsible in the way we fundraise, dedicated to honesty and accountability. That is why we signed up to
fundraising regulation through the FRSB.  Membership is a commitment to the highest standards of fundraising.

From now on, you will always see the give with confidence tick logo on our website and appeals, reminding you of our commitment to best practice in fundraising.  We hope that our membership will give you added confidence in our fundraising.

Our Commitment to You

As part of our FRSB membership we need to adhere to certain regulations. Should you have any concerns about the way we fundraise, we have a robust complaints process.  We encourage you to get in touch with your feedback; and, if you are unsatisfied with the way we handle your concerns, you can also contact the FRSB directly.

To read more about our official Fundraising Complaints Procedure you can download it as a pdf here.

Newsflash!

We would like to say thank you to Seafarers UK for granting us a sum of £25000 towards our chaplains work with seafarers, providing a proactive ship-visiting service to merchant ships visiting Great Britain.
